First pool experience

Daddy says I look like Rocky in this picture. These first few were after my fun swim time....spent a little over an hour there!! I was nervous at first but then I learned it was one huge bath tub and was having so much fun!!!

Just as mom snapped the picture dad lifted his head out of the water shoots. These next ones were within the first 15 minutes of being there and she was nervous....didn't take any towards the middle when she was having fun because mom was too lazy to walk far way to get the camera.

Mommy got in the water and showed her it was fun to splash and play...she warmed up after that and was even kicking her feet when we held her out to pretend swim in the bigger pool. She better get used to the pool cuz momma goes a lot!!!

Not sure if I like the water on my butt dad...pick me up!!

All better now....

You can't see them but there's water that shoots up all over this big square and funnels that drop water from above that were scaring her.

New Things

Some of the new things I've been doing lately:

- Scaling the outside of the pack n play...even better when there's a toy there to give a boost!
- Running...started doing better a few days ago.
- Flush the toilet...only took a few weeks of mommy saying no before i got quick enough.
- Gave mommy the evil eye and pointed at her when she told me no the other day...very interesting the little booger child!
- Talking a lot and picking up words all the time.
- When I say "where's daddy?" she immediately looks out the window....so cute....funny thing is, Wilma does it with her!
- Can almost stand up off the ground without using hands to help.
....I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of right now and I'll post pictures sometime soon, maybe even a walking video!

At 10 Months I Can...

- Crawl like I've been doing it for years
- Walk like a pro
- Stand up from the floor without any help or objects to help
- Say more words...these are my newest additions:
- bath
- Adam...he was very proud of me
- yes
- also points at things and says something mommy can't figure out yet...
- Pointing at everything...mommy taught me using the ET phone home way.
- Scream real loud while crying
- Feed the dogs from my high chair
- Motion for more with my hand...looks like I'm saying come and get it...
- Stand up in the back of the cart at the store and create lots of attention and keep the store occupied with my squealing and waving and saying hi to EVERYONE.
- Crawl and walk over things...I've even tried crawling up onto the couch but not quite there yet.
- Eat dog food...thought my Aunt Beth would be proud of me...
- I even tried running the other day!!!
- Grass is still interesting and not sure of it yet.
- I did lift up mommy's shirt the other day and pat her belly and play with her belly button...she keeps saying baby but I don't understand yet.

10 Month Visit

Kenzie went to the Pediatrician on Monday to check the status of her sickness...she has a virus of some sort but is doing much better. We got her stats for this month...feels like we're there every month!

Weight: 20.8 lbs
Height: 30 inches

IT'S A BOY!!!

We found out today we are having a BOY!! The ultrasound is on video but blogger will not let me upload, it may be too large. If you'd like to see it you'll just have to come visit!! The baby is measuring good and healthy. My due date is officially October 4th. He is weighing in at 12oz and his heartbeat was 150 bpm. At one point during the ultrasound he punched me, it was humerous to watch what he's doing, he was more active than Kenzie. We welcome any GOOD boy names...Penni is not allowed to volunteer names for at least one week or so....we do not have anything really chosen and it may take until he's born to figure it out! The middle name is Scott and I think we all know the last name. I'll try uploading the video again, maybe even edit it to make it into smaller ones, if I can figure it out!

Sleepy girl

She didn't sleep well all day since she still wasn't feeling well and after eating most of her food she passed out in her high chair. Happened quickly, must have been a tired girl!! Tired from the DQ grandma/grandpa Fulkerson brought but it made her excited!

Daddy picked her up and put her to bed at only 6:15pm!!! Crazy time for her to go to bed!
Poor sick baby...

Weeding

Yes, we have weeds in the back almost as tall as Fred...they'll be taken out this week! He actually sits in them a lot, quite funny.
Snazzy Sketchers from a garage sale...first pair of tennis shoes. She wouldn't walk in the grass with them, both were new to her!

Watching daddy dig out weeds...this is the day after the 104.2 temp...she needed all the lovin' she could get.

Scavenger

I now love to open any drawer and pull out everything in it....this time I chose the DVD drawer and pulled out certain movies that pertain to me....in this one I have the movie IQ....because I'm a little smartie pants...

Now I have the DVD of how to take care of an infant...I need to know these things for when my little brother/sister comes along soon!!!

Some day I will meet my prince charming...but don't worry I won't be a maid in my own home...I am eating the box to Ever After.

I'm a doggie

Whatever toy I choose for the moment I tend to put it in my mouth, like a doggie, and get to where I need to be faster...and with the toy! There are more pictures of this to be posted later. It's just easier to crawl with the toy in my mouth...

Wilma and the Horse

Wilma was terrified of the rocking horse...it stares at her...she still barks at it when we're not in the room. Chris likes to sit next to it now....

Look Aunt Beth!!!

Mommy got me a big rig at a sale and it's now my favorite thing in the house!!! I can get off it without help too...I dive onto the floor and crawl away....

I have a horsie that talks to me....I even try making noises back....thought my Aunt Beth would be proud of me for being a proud owner of a horse!!!


Petting it is my favorite thing....and watching Wilma run away and bark at it....

Sneaky....

What I have learned in the past few days....

- How to let Wilma out of her cage when she's in time out...I can do it in about 10-15 seconds!!!
- How to say cheese...I love to eat it!!
- How to walk all the time now, I get daring....well I try walking everywhere anyways!!! When I fall it's no problem, I'm tough...
- How to bounce on my mattress in my crib

I'm just getting so smart....makes mommy wonder if I need to start school in the fall....
