Illinois State Fair

What's the State Fair without the butter cow display??? This year it was in a case that rotated for easier viewing.

Watching the lumberjack show after taking only a 20 minute nap...the whole day...she did great though!!!

Trying to feed Uncle Ryan

Baby animal petting zoo....she started quacking when she saw the baby ducks :)

Watching the horse handler lady in one of the stalls. She was taking care of the horse and the door was open so we got a closer peek. Kenzie constantly talked to the horse so it kept slowly moving towards her...cracked me up.

Love seeing the horsies...told aunt beth that she can teach her how to ride someday and mommy will watch :)

Our little runway model

She didn't like being on the ground with them all thinking she had food but she thought it was fun everytime daddy swung her close to them.

First stop was the small petting zoo at our entrance.

Kitchen Fun

The usual things that come out right away in the kitchen....pans...

Holy Crap!!!!

This about made me (mommy) vomit....did she eat it more or wear it more??? Apparently we don't have the neat and tidy child anymore!

This was my angle, so she didn't look too bad but then daddy took the picture above this and grossed me out.

The child tried touching me when she was done....ummm....no deal....daddy picked her up and mommy hosed her off in the tub but hey, at least she's enjoying what she's eating!!!

Luvin' Fred

She always b-lines it for Fred's bed and loves to lay in it with him. This day she brought cheerios to share...and yes, she shares her food with him but only if she's quick enough before mommy catches her!!

Vacuum Attacks

She's no longer afraid of this vacumm, for the most part, and loves to be chased. Everytime I pushed it near her, Chris would stomp on the front of it and it made her laugh so hard!! So funny!! I think she liked it because it looked like daddy was beating up the evil vacuum.

Watermelon

We weeded the garden today...well we found the garden today...and found a softball sized watermelon!!! there were several other little ones but hopefully this one can be edible this year!!! The tomatoes are doing great, so many to pick in a few weeks! I was so excited I had to take this picture.

Mini-Golf

I forgot my camera for the family picnic so this is all I have....see Joel's blog for more of the picnic...if he ever posts more!!!!

We went mini-golfing and Ezra was quite entertained with the club...Kenzie just ate hers so we took it away :)
"So Uncle Joel and Aunt Cara, this is my putting green and I'll show you how it goes...."

After someone hits the ball you run after it and pick it up.....

....then put it in the hole for a hole in one....good job Aunt Cara on the putt!!!
