Shake that thang!!!!

I finally caught her on camera shakin' what the Good Lord gave her!!! She now dances anytime she hears music...I stopped the camera as she picked up the kangaroo, she started dancing again because it plays music too!!! So funny.....she also finally learned how to clap with open hands...for the longest time she clapped with her fists....

Big Girl Tub

Mommy decided I needed more space to roam during my baths...so into the big tub I went!!! I even crawled thru the water and stood up when I wanted out...what a good girl I am. Playing in there was fun!!!

Invader!!!

This is my new playmate...Bryan. Mommy watches him for his mommy during the week. I tried playing but he just coo's and sleeps....Each time I see him I smile and wave!!!

Nap time...yes, there's now 2 cribs in my room...mommy keeps telling me there will be another invader in a few months that does not go home each night....

He's staring at my neat ladybug hanging thing from my Aunt Beth and soon to be Uncle Ryan...it hangs on the fan in the middle of the room and can be very captivating to the right audience...

Even the people next to us were laughing!!! I managed to laugh almost the entire time!!!

My first time playing at a park....well trying to understand what I'm supposed to be doing. I went to my friend McKenna's 1st Birthday party and afterwards mommy and daddy taught me all about the playground....it was fun!!!! The swings were my favorite!!!

I'm a social butterfly and love to wave at everyone!!

Her vocabulary is now stretched to about 6 words and a bunch of babbling...

9 Month Check-up

Here's my 9 month stats:

weight: 19lbs 7oz (60%)

height: 29 inches (90%)

head: 17 1/2 inches (70%)

Doc said I was tall and slender but healthy as can be too!!! good, since I was sick a little ways back!! He was also impressed at all of my activities and progress!!

The new baby also had an unexpected check-up today and everything there is good and healthy too!!!

Monday's fun

She now has a large blocked off area to play where the dogs can't get in and bug her.

These next few are her in the food pantry....I left the doors open so she'd figure out there's fun things to play with in there....it worked and it occupied her for about 20 minutes while mom did dishes....it worked well until she pulled out one of the drawers and scraped her head. She still enjoys all of the new play toy though!!

Fiber bars...mmmm....well, actually the wrappers are yummy.

I'm 9 months old and I can....

- Crawl like a pro - I've been trying to crawl fast
- Take steps
- Wave on command and scream HI...I do a good parade wave too
- Eat yummier foods on mommy's plate, also goldfish crackers are scrumptious!!!
- Stay up longer in a period...two naps could become one but mommy says no...
- Still sleep 11-12 hours at night
- Say ma-ma and da-da and know who they are
- Place nicely with others
- Cruise (standing up) like a pro around objects
- Pull myself up on everything
- Pull clothes out of laundry baskets and throw them everywhere
- Eat out of a snack trap cup all by myself
- Throw fits
- Most of all I'm still as cute as can be and fun to play with!!!!
- Talk....Talk....Talk...Talk....

My new ride....well it stays at Grandma/Grandpa Fulkerson's for all the grandkids but no other grandkid does the parade wave every time in the living room!!!

Sleepy Head

In these first three pictures she doesn't quite understand how to lay herself back down when she falls asleep in a sitting position, which is most of the time, and she fell asleep against the crib then fell back onto the puppy when I snapped the pictures....always have to lay her back down a few minutes after she falls asleep.

Mom came walking in to see what the noise was all about while I was supposed to be napping and behold I learned to stand up in my crib!!! Gonna have to take the mobile down and turn it into a stand instead! Crazy girl.....goes all over her crib now and if she's sitting up she cries until you lay her back down...funny baby....

Big Girl!!

Well...I've been doing a lot lately!!! In the course of 2 weeks I managed to pop out 4 teeth and another looks to be coming in...don't worry, I've been a good girl! On to more exciting things...I finally learned how to crawl on Tuesday...just in time for mommy and daddy's 5th anniversary...hope they like their gift! It took me about a month to figure out how to move my hands forward but I took off one day and have been doing well ever since. Not only am I crawling but I'm walking too!!! Last week I started taking several steps. Mommy has been practicing with me and I finally did it! That's right, I walked before I crawled!! Now I'm a little dare devil. I think it's fun to walk from object to object, even if it's out of reach...I find a way to get to it. I have no fear of letting go of the object and going for it!!! This morning I was trying to walk from the bench to one of mommy's bins in her bedroom and instead of making it there I fell belly and face down right into the dog bed...didn't hurt and I got right back up and wanted to try it again.

I finally know who da-da is when I say it. I still want ma-ma when I'm upset and crying though. More funky sounds are coming out of my mouth every day and I'm starting to throw fits!!!! I get mad and scream when you take things from me or turn me back over on the changing table...mommy tells me no and stares at me and I usually stop and freeze for a few seconds. Oh...the other day I thought it would be neat to roll off the changing table and onto mommy's head/neck, don't worry she caught me as I got to the floor and I was fine, didn't even whimper. She was trying to get my clothes out of the drawer and when I fell she put me in the chair and I was so confused because I couln't roll out of that! I took advantage of the one time her hand wasn't on me to keep me in place...no fear of heights apparently! Anywho, videos will be posted later when the dogs stop getting in the way of the camera and knocking mommy over.
