Is this chocolate?

Okay mommy...now you go hide and I'll count to, well....I just turn around and scream to find you!

The view is better from the top...and I can reach my fishies better...just wait until I climb it, better take it down when I learn to scale dad!

It's always fun standing outside, I can hold on better. I did start learning how to go from the crib to mommy and back again. I take about one step and reach my little hand out for mommy, when I hold her hand I step on over and let go of the crib. Sometimes I get daring and take both hands off, not too good at that one yet.

Headband Day

Mommy decided that since she was wearing a headband I needed to also. Here we are sporting our hot new look! Well....I'm sporting it way better...mom is lacking...

6 Month Checklist

6 Months Old Today!! So far I am:

- Sitting up like a champ
- Rolling over from tummy to back and from back to tummy...only if I want a toy, otherwise I'm
content on my back
- Starting to scoot on my tummy. I go forwards and backwards about a millimeter or two but do
good at turning to the side on my tummy!
- Starting to sleep on my side....but I still find it more exciting to sleep with my knees up in the
air!!
- Squealing and talking so much, even so much that it sounds like I'm saying mamma and dadda
- Standing without people help while still holding onto furniture
- Can sit up from a laying position then stand from the sitting position, mommy holds my hands
but I do the rest...I'm so strong!!
- Walking with help...I love to walk and when I'm stopped and picked up I scream!
- Started eating baby food then mom started to puree stuff from a can....much yummier!!!
- Giggle and laugh at a lot of things, including at the animals
- Very ticklish

Stats:
Height: 26 1/2 inches - 75%
Head Circumference: 16 1/4 inches - 25%

I go back in at 7 months for a weight check...I'm in the 15-20% for weight. I did good with my shots...they've learned to put 3 in 1 now!!! My Dr. visit was good and he said in a few months I can start soft table foods...yummy and oh so excited to make a huge mess!!! Mommy and daddy also have to start baby proofing the house because here I come!!!!!

She's showing how she loves to suck on her right foot while being changed in these next few pictures. She really only does this during changing.

So dainty in her dress...her mother must have taught her...HA!!

New Visitor

Who is this man? Is it Grandpa...looks kinda like him....sounds kinda like him....nope! It's Uncle Scott...Grandpa's brother!! He came for a short visit while he was in town for business. I was napping at first but then woke up when I heard them coming. I liked him at first then decided I'd rather scream. Mommy showed him how I walk, then it was all over....nap time was too short and back to my crib I went. After a few minutes of talking sweetly in the monitor mommy came and got me. I was a different baby for my new visitor. He ended up being a nice person after all....I even let him play with me some. Come back again!!

Sippy Cup Fun

First attempt at using a sippy cup...went fairly well. Mom held it so I could get used to the tip but once I knew juice was coming out, I went to town!!

Enough of this helping me stuff....it's all mine!

Back off mom, I got it...

She leaned me back so I could get the hang of tipping the cup....later on in the day we took a trip to the mall and mom gave me the cup again. It's great chewing on the tip...good for teething. When I figured that nothing was coming out anymore I got mad, screamed once real loud and threw the cup down in my carseat. Mom and dad just laughed at me being so dramatic.

She was being stubborn and not looking when I asked...she knows her name and this is the look I get when she knows what she's supposed to be doing...it cracks us up.

Don't watch Grandma's!!! Daddy was having fun flying me around in my carrier...he said he was testing the straps to make sure they're still secure...whatever, it was fun!!
