Grandpa Hawker's Birthday

Before bedtime...well...after bedtime should've been....Kenzie helped Grandma and Grandpa Hawker decorate grandpa's birthday cake. She had a ball doing this...she loves coloring!!

Apparently at one point she stuck her face in the icing and licked some off....that's my girl!!

Sorry...Zach was tired and cuddling with daddy in the living room....then he was in bed :)

Room to Grow

After two years of searching for the right deal at the right time....last Thursday evening we brought home our "new to us" van :) It's a Honda Odyssey. I've spent countless hours praying, researching, calling, dealing, viewing and dreaming of being able to buy a van. The long, never ending road, is now parked out front.....wahoo!!!! To God be the glory for a long awaited answer to prayer!!!!

Don't worry, I strapped the daughter in after the photo...she thinks the middle seat is her own personal seating and refuses to hop into her car seat at times.

32 week appointment

At 32 weeks, he's right on schedule :) Belly was measuring 32 weeks and his heartbeat was around 148....he was kicking out my side. The other two yahoo's were trying to behave. I didn't have time to grab snacks beforehand so they were not as well behaved...usually they are near perfect for me, no joke. They are allowed to come to my 34 week and after that they have been banned....for obvious reasons of dilation checking :) Maybe they'll go play with friends for an hour. My weight gain so far is 11lbs. Remember....I don't eat a lot with boys as I don't always feel well. I did pass my 3hr glucose test...hooray!!!! 8 weeks to go and I keep telling him that he's allowed to come out on Mother's Day....thats what we do to make it mothers day...birth babies :)

Fun with Daddy

While mommy went to the grocery store, daddy had fun with the kids :) They love to play with hats...especially Zach, so daddy actually got the camera out!!!! Isn't my family adorable!! Oh, and whoever left the hat at our house that Makenzie is wearing (Matthew or Ben), we will return it when we see you next :) Don't worry, it's usually hanging on a hook not being touched. Oh, and yes, Zach has a huge purple/black bruise under his left eye...it's not just dirt...he's a little dare devil/acrobat.

Sore throat

He's following his sister with sickness. She only had an ear infection. He went to the Dr today and has the starts of an ear infection, fever and a real bad red/sore throat. Her nasty head cold junk started getting better on day 3.....his got worse :( What does mommy do with a sore throat? Milkshake of course :) He hasn't been eating anything and has been drooling A TON. Now we know why. He needed to have something in his tummy for his meds before naptime :) Of course, sis got one too......and these are small shakes!!! I'm sure playing out in this 70 degree weather today will help too!!! I know it'll help mommy :)

Kitchen floors

On the left side is the padding that was under the carpet....on the right side is all the glue and junk that was holding things down.

There are oak looking spots that peak thru and that's about the color of flooring we will have....if we decide to keep the original floors. It is skinny wood, not the normal wider planks so I'm not sure if I'll like it or not. Chris may sand more to see if it's usable. Now I'm in the process of refinding what I want....I'm picky and have to search out all of the places in town and ratings of each wood product...yep, that's me. Vinyl tiles may not work if the floors are uneven at any point. Don't worry, I enjoy investigating as I like the knowledge. I'd even install it myself if I wasn't so big and fat and got tired easily....I love being handy :) Oh well, that's what Chris is for :)

Welcome to the world

My twin and his wife proudly welcomed little Annie Joy Fulkerson yesterday, March 15th, at 4:18pm. Weighing 8lbs 13oz and 20.5 inches long. She's healthy and mommy's doing great too :) This little girl came flying out 11 days early....momma's water broke around 2pm, no time for drugs!!! Kudos to you Cara for doing a great job...and good job Joel for not wrecking on the way to the hospital as the crazed dad :) Can't wait to see pictures of her with big brother, Ezra!!!! Can't wait to meet you!!!

Mystery cat....Daytona

Yes, it's blurry but you get the point. Daytona is a real animal in our house....not just a rumor cat. He's been coming up from the basement a ton more and letting the kids play with him. Zach LOVES the cat and chases him any and every chance he gets. He's actually petting him nicely here....and daddy isn't even holding him down!!

Big Boy Bed

We started trying Zach out in his racecar bed.....since Kenzie is now in her bigger girl bed. He'll lay still and fall asleep just fine, then he wakes up and gets out of bed crying because he's confused. All he wants is back in his crib...no biggie...we have about 4 months to get him used to it. We usually switch the new baby into the crib around week 6-8....drives me crazy otherwise. The above picture is without the flash...find Elmo's head and you'll see Zach's. The bottom one was taken with the flash on so you can see him better :)

30 weeks 5 days

30 weeks and 5 days pregnant with #3. He's quite the little mover and loves jabbing my pelvis. So far, all 3 have been laying in the same position and kick more on the right side. I'm more exhausted with this one....not because I have 2 to chase around....I wake up exhausted. Belly measurements are right on track. 32 week appointment in a week, then starts the every 2 week visits!!! It's getting closer!!! If we could just finish our moving around projects I may be a happier camper.

CARS second trip

Grandma and Grandpa Fulkerson were in town last night and Grandpa was whining to see Tow Mater.....so we had to take him cuz there's no pacifier that will keep him quiet!! Kenzie is leading the way :)

As usual...Zach runs circles around the cars.....and won't hold still for any picture. I was trying not to use my flash, that's why it looks blurry....sorry!


Kenzie was very excited to show the Mater.....she was very determined on the way there that grandma and grandpa wouldn't get lost because they needed to see mater :)

Kyla's Birthday

Kyla turns 14 today!!!!! We went to her birthday party yesterday. Kenzie LOVES Kyla and was soooo excited to see her!!! Of couse she asked if there was going to be "birfday cake" :) Kyla is like another daughter to me....absolutely love when she's around....especially teaching her how to cook and bake!!! Tiff....I'll take her anytime :)

Happy little guy

He was happily eating Teddy Bears while mommy finished up some Pampered Chef work.....so nice to have a job that can be done at home :) It was also my plan to keep him in there so he didn't wake up his sis!!!

In the way

As usual....her brother is in the way :) She's trying to put her new pack of pull ups in the basket and Zach decided to hop right inside. She's day trained but I don't care about night training right now....it'll take a lot of effort that I don't care to expend at this point.
