I am now 24 weeks along and he's moving good in there!! The kids have a new found fascination with my belly :) Zach loves to smack, pinch and kiss it while Makenzie gently pats :) I don't usually post bare belly shots but this is too cute! It's not the most gorgeous of bellies (Lacy) but it grows my babies just great!! The kids are giving him some love taps and squeezes. The picture below is of Zach kissing my belly....he does that without prompting a lot, it's adorable! 
Happily eating blueberry waffles :) At his 15 1/2 month check up he is:
He can:
- Walk, run
- Tell us what he wants by pointing and whining
- Talks a ton! He can say soooo many words and a few sentences such as: "I want juice", "all done", "I did it", "where'd you go", there's a few more I can't think of right now.
- Understands a lot of what I ask him to do....and not to do.
- Sleeps beautifully thru the night...compared to what he did as an infant!
- Finally walks in shoes...he used to throw his head on the ground and cry and not move.
- Loves to color...giggles when he sees crayons :)
- Seems to be a lefty so far....what's that all about!
- LOVES THE POTTY!!!!!! I'll start actually training him when Kenzie totally gets that both things go in the potty, not just pee....I know you all cared to know :)
- Still hates the nursery but does great for sitters.
- He's such a happy, giggly little thing and is ALWAYS entertaining us!!!!
- He and Kenzie really do like eachother and play real well together!!!
- Gives hugs and kisses.
- Folds his hands when we pray.
- More dramatic than his sister!!!!
- Started understanding how to work a fork and spoon at dinner tonight (1/22/11)
- Leaves his plate alone!!!!!!! Kenzie always threw if off her tray, Zach leaves it until he's done, then hands it back!!! What a good boy....he even gives you the crumbs off his tray to put on his plate :) So funny.
Makenzie doesn't understand the concept of sleeping in! She normally wakes up around 6:15am-ish....then lovingly (she really does it lovingly and softly) wakes her brother :) Don't worry, they play and giggle for a while until mommy can kick herself out of bed around 6:45am. Well, she loved us this day...mostly! She woke up at 5:30am and came into our room so I told her to climb in bed and fall back to sleep. I really thought she'd lay there and get me back up 1/2 hr later....but no, she slept until 7:30am!!!! We never let the kids sleep in bed with us....only if it's this early in the morning and she'd behave. You can even note the time on the clocks behind her head! For about two weeks prior, she was waking up at 5am or so and quietly playing without waking her brother. I was tired of it and made her fall back to sleep with us on this particular day. Zach will normally sleep until 7:30-8am if left alone :) For the past week almost, she's been sleeping until about 7am :) Happy parents are we :)
Zach loves to look at the blog pictures...he gets excited, sits up on the desk and talks to the pictures.
Picking out his little brothers name...he pointed to a few and could say the few we have on the list.
Coloring for about 20 minutes :) She's very careful in her drawings....doesn't look like much but she's very precise!! She's asking why the crayon is broken in this picture.
This is deserving of its own post. Grandpa Hawker thought he'd love on his grandaughter and put her little bike together. Not too long into it I hear....do you have pliers...the wheels are in backwards....guess looking at the picture would've helped. That's when I first started laughing.
Out come the directions and it took about 10-15 minutes to get the wheels switched...with both guys working. All I could say was....gimmie the toy and I'll show you how it's done :)
The finishing touches....the bigger pedals. Good thing Zach's didn't have to get put together too...I would've done that....HA! This may be a big mean to post but if you were there you'd understand it was deserving of a post all its own!
Our Dr. does a new thing and gives you all of the sono pictures on a CD now...how fun!!!

Checking out all the new loot. Since we were sick for the actual Hawker Christmas this year...it came to us! Well, grandma was sick so grandpa santa came :) Between me and Grandpa we took TONS of pictures for Grandma....only about 1/3 of mine are posted here.

Our sweet little Bears fan :) She's all dressed up and ready for game day...and church. Lots of little girls come in their Bears or Packers wear on Bears/Packers game day!!!
