I had to go out and buy a different sippy cup that was way more soft....he's totally the opposite of his sister. He took to it rather great, we're trying him with water...plain water!!!! His sis spits it out but she had to have pear juice with water since she was 7 weeks old...hence the defiance but I will win the battle...it's getting better!!! Anywho, here's the cute little guy a few weeks ago with his new means of liquids :)

Tables and chairs are for boring people...we sit on the counter and eat lunch, in our pj's!! She watches me make her food while standing on the chair next to the counter, then usually eats part of it before i'm done putting it all on the plate....then she climbs up and sits to eat. this happens on occassion but hey, it's different and adds excitment to her day :)

She got this sandbox for her birthday last year and we got sand last night for it....i had to put her in it and she got the hang of the amount of fun that could come from it....until mommy made us go to the front of the house because of the few yellow jackets hanging around right there that come from the garage next door...we'll nip that in the bud real soon!!!!

I sat down (yes, i could've done this on the table but whatever) to cut pieces for everyone so they could choose their own piece size and kenzie wandered over for curiosity...well...the jelly beans were tasty looking. We were doing great keeping her out of the cake so we could take a picture of it with her next to it but.....well....
...she put her foot in the baby chicks cheek :) What makes this story even more humerous is that i put my foot in my cake on my first birthday...like mommy, like daughter...that's my girl!!!!! all we could do was laugh :)

Due to time restraints in the morning her basket was very easy to find....

Didn't have time to fill eggs so i just gave her the whole bag of jelly beans...she got lots of eggs on the grandparent hunts!!!
