Around the house

Zach is enjoying all of the colorful lights/sounds/and his reflection while doing a pretty snazzy job at supported sitting!!

She treats her tickle me elmo like a baby....rocks him, swings him, feeds him, cuddles him...and bangs his head on things just to laugh...hmmm...one of those doesn't fit!!!!

The Hunt

Not only is it Valentine's Day but it's also Nascar's Daytona 500....so mommy made racecar pancakes for breakfast :)

Valentine hunt....each heart has a clue to where a little valentine gift is hiding.

After daddy found his he helped Kenzie and Zach find theirs

Her first one was hidden in her pull-ups bag...don't worry, the clean ones :)

She happily flung open the doors and grabbed the box right away...made me laugh.

Creativity

Zach was tired out just from thinking about helping make a valentine...so...he fell asleep on the floor to get out of helping....what a typical man already :)

Kenzie's hard at work making daddy a valentine...or trying to rip apart what mommy glued together.....it was fun and she did a good job!!

Rice cereal

Zach had his first taste of spoon feeding last night...mmm...rice cereal. He was SOOO excited and couldn't get enough!!! I think more was on him than in his mouth but boy did he sure try!

Zach 4 Months

4 months old and sooooo happy and squealy!!!! He only had two shots yesterday and did great :)

These were all so cute I had to post each one....yes, I did leave out a few.

4 Month Stats:

Weight: 14lbs 5oz (49%)

Height: 25 3/4 inches (75%)

Head: 16 7/8 inches (75%)

So far he's:

- rolling over from tummy to back

- jumping really well in his door jumper

- standing great in his exersaucer

- reaching and playing with toys

- squealing and talking a lot

- trying to sit up....he does good, only falls to the side, his back control is strong at this point (for his size)....he can sit up without falling forward real fast. he holds onto my pant with one hand and can sit up wonderfully.

- sleeping at least 6-7 hours on a constant basis at night

- starting to like other people....even daddy :)

- loves watching tv....cartoons and sports are his favorites, he smiles at them a lot

- VERY smiley and interactive!!!!!!!!!

Teddy Bears

Kenie's become SOOO fascinated in her little ty bears lately...she's always liked them but now she'll sit and play with them for long periods at a time :) She loves trying to sit them all up like a little classroom....cracks us up!!!

Room for more

She's enjoying her new set up...look closely at the bed :)

Apparently we can fit one more in this room....don't worry, we're not expecting, we just decided to move things around the other day so the car bed could go in their room.

Dad 'n Bottle

Apparently while I was getting groceries daddy thought Zach needed to start learning how to hold a bottle.

Not working so well....

Another Shhh....moment

He fell asleep for another morning nap while we were getting ready for church....so cute. We were actually commenting before on how it would be interesting if he did fall asleep in the bouncer, apparently he listened :) Makenzie kept running over to him and saying "baby...shhhh", cracked me up and she actually left him alone!!!

Starting to wake up...he just layed there with his eyes open.
