Cubbie Blue

This is so small because it was taken with my phone...my camera died when I arrived. Doc and I battle on Cubs vs Cardinals all the time and I've never gotten his picture with any of my kids after delivery. On my 6wk appointment I dressed us all in Cubs attire and made him take our picture :) His reaction was fun!! He even said at least he had blue on for us :) We love Dr. Nord!!!! Logan moved a little in the picture so he looks a little fuzzier but it's still a fun picture!!

Makenzie - 3 years

At 3 years Makenzie is:
Height: 40 1/4 in (97%)
Weight: 35.4 lbs (09%)

She can/is:
- Sing her ABC's
- Count to about 16
- Recognize the whole alphabet in upper case and lower case...given maybe 2.
- Potty trained
- Singing songs
- Still doesn't like books too much....they have to be REAL short and have LOTS of pictures...sounds like mommy!!!
- Starting to talk back and be a butt
- She never had terrible 2's so we'll see how her 3's go!!!
- Riding her bike
- Water hound
- Loves to take things apart and build
- Likes girly princess things now
- Loves her brothers and does good at helping mommy take care of them...especially putting Zach in timeout :)
- Knows all of her shapes and colors
- Talks up a storm!!!
- Loves cake :)

- Learning how to trace and write numbers and letters

I'm sure there's tons more but that's all I can think of right now!!

Logan - 2 months

At 2 months Logan is:
Length: 23 3/4in (90%)
Weight: 12lbs 10oz (75%)
Head circ.: 15 3/8in (50%)

He is doing great on holding his head up....he's stopped wobbling it around so much. He's bouncing when we hold him up...he LOVES to stand up just like his sister. He can hold his own weight on his legs for about 30 secs. He's taking after his sis on this one!! He's quite the little talker. Doing good on sleeping at night. Doesn't cry or spit up much at all...huge change from Zach!!! He's such a content little thing and we love him tons!!!! I had him on my chest last night and had my hands on the bottom of his feet...leaving my hands in the same place...he was very slowly worming his way up me!! He looked like a little worm. He tried doing the same thing while on his tummy on the couch....we think he may be an earlier mover also :) What a cutie he is too!!!!!

Birthday morning....she's 3!!!!!!!

Park time!!!! It was a lovely morning for the park. We wanted to take her to the spray park but it wasn't warm enough....it's her favorite :)

Her new friend, Allison. These two girls found each other right away and were attached!!

The long anticipate cake

If I knew how to do some flowers and a few other things, it would've turned out even better but I'm very proud of my Cinderella castle cake for my little girl!!!! Only took 4 1/2 hours...I really thought it would've taken longer. The look on her face was priceless.....wish I had my camera for that smile and excitement!!!!! She had been waiting for sooo long in her mind, to eat this cake and turn 3!!!!!!

Cinderella's Party

Her cute hair...that came out after an hour of playing....lasted longer than I thought it would!
It's a braid wrapped in a bun with her pretty clippies she adores of mine.

Opening gifts...once again...if your gift is not pictured, no worries, they're tiny when I upload them so it's hard to figure what's what. Just know we thank everyone for their gifts and they're being well used!!!!

Scribble and Write....it's better than I thought! After a few days she's learned how to trace and draw letter real well!!!! Zach is addicted to it also :)

Auntie Beth and Uncle Ryan stayed later and showed them how to play with the new toys!!! Would've been sad if they left sooner....they came so far for the party!!!! We let them stay up extra late for a very good cause :)

Sticker

She got stickers from the library today and one was a crown that she thought needed to go on her head like a princess. Needless to say, this is how I found the crown at naptime....stuck!! Cracked me up!!

Our sparkly toes

Makenzie (and mommy) was treated to a manicure/pedicure for her birthday from Tara, Dave and Jayden. She has such a fun time!!!!! Since they forgot about mommy and only did polish, Kenzie has lots left over on her gift card to use again later......sweet deal!!!! Mine was free since they made me wait so long :)

The sparkly green fingers no one but mommy saw :) She picked them off by the time we got home....she said it tasted gross....really?!?! Her toes are still pretty sparkly blue :)
