Daddy Did What?
Last night at midnight I heard a sad cry come from Makenzie's room. She never wakes up during the night....even if she falls out of bed! I went into her room and hear her say "poopie"....I poopied.
Me: did you poop in your bed?
Kenz: no....
Me: do you need to go poop?
Kenz: no....
Me: what do you need?
Kenz: daddy poopied in my bed
Me: no he didn't sweetie....daddy's in another room, do you want to go see him?
**daddy is not asleep at this point because he's a night owl**
So off we go to see daddy and make sure he really didn't poop in Kenzie's bed :) I walk her to him and he picks her up and oh the squeezes she gave him :) He tried convincing her he did not poop in her bed....but there was no convincing her at 12:30am!! We walked her back into her room and turned on the light for her to see that it was all clean, she was not budging. I offered to lay with her for the night, she has a full size bed so I fit just fine! I layed there for a bit and sat up to see if she was okay for me to leave...no...she says "no mom, lay down"....so I layed back down. A few minutes later I decided I needed to go get my pillow, body pillow and go potty. She was okay for me to get up at that point because I told her I was coming back. I checked on Zach, got a tums and went potty. While I was getting my pillows I heard her start crying again. Daddy went in to rescue her and she clunge to him, real tight. I got in there and told her I'd sleep with her that night but that was no longer good enough because daddy came to her rescue and was holding her :) She's become a bit more clingy since daddy's been working a lot and the kids don't see him much and I don't mind :) I offered her to sleep in our bed if the poop was really bothering her. Off we went, she cuddled with daddy on HIS side, then slept still the whole night in the middle. When she woke up....when Zach came barging in at 6:45am....she looked at her blankies and said "no poopies in my blankies!" Really...duh...we told you that in the wee hours this morning!! No biggie....she was now okay because she was also fully awake and understanding that daddy really didn't poop in her bed!!! We think she's a little afraid of her room right now since it's just her bed in there because we're not done with touch ups. Her toys make her feel more secure as the room just looks more empty. She'll sleep in her bed without a fuss tonight....that's because she's a good girl and knows what she's supposed to be doing. We don't allow kids to sleep in bed with us at night but there was no way around this one.....and it was too funny and cute to pass by :) Apparently we just need to potty train daddy again :)

Makenzie's Room - Take 1
Chaos.....ugh.....
This is my annoying chaos right now...nothing is in place and the kids find fun things and take off with them...so who knows where some things are right now. I'll find them when I can organize again....so for right now I have the attitude of I could care less. Annoying, yes but whatever.....if I didn't have this attitude my head would be thru the wall right now. Chris only has so much time in a week and getting home at 10pm 3 of those nights doesn't give him much time or sleep to finish things. Ugh....it'll be done soon....then his last project is to stain the dresser for #3.

Daddy Lovin'
Fresh up from a nap and cuddling with daddy....this is daddy's favorite time :) They had 6 days of basically no daddy time.....so on Sunday they got all his lovin' :)
This little girl woke up from her nap, came running out of her room, passed by mommy and flew onto daddy's lap with a startled look on her face! If you know our daughter, then you know she's NOT the cuddler! This shocked us both and made us giggle :) Daddy's buttering her up with a cookie :) Daddy was a happy camper on Sunday.

Checking it over at the 1/2 way point
